The
steps, systems and procedures in
the city's simplified systems and
procedures on the Business Permit
Processing still needs to be brought
to the Barangay level. Hence, through
the city's Barangay.Net Project
and with digital connectivity achieved,
the city's Business Permit applicants
should be able to:

download application forms in
their own homes and at the barangay
halls. This component has already
been put in place.
- obtain
information on tax assessments.
At present, the city's constituents
can already send a query through
the E-mail. Next year, taxpayers
can already obtain such information
directly through the listings
that the city will make accessible.
The city is still working on how
each individual taxpayer can be
protected from unnecessary exposure
of his/her tax assessments, liabilities
and tax dues
- obtain
information on tax incentives
and other investment-related data
After
the simplification of the Business
Permit Processing, the city will
now work on the other civil application
components, like the applications
for Building Permit, Occupancy Permit,
Civil Registry, and other permits
and clearances processing.
The bottom line for all the city's
initiatives on civil applications
is to simplify the steps leading
towards the acquisition of permits
and clearances and make more efficient,
effective, and less costly in transacting
business in the city.
