The process of simplification and re-engineering of the Business Permit Processing has been properly documented to show to other local government units how the City of Mandaue arrived at the streamlined systems and procedures. The documentation is intended to showcase the innovate approach of the city for replication.

The streamlined systems and procedures for the Business Permit Processing has been showcased already in three major gatherings:

• National Gathering of Business-friendly Cities and Municipalities Forum,
  held last April 24 and 25, 2003 at the Century Park Hotel, Manila
  
• Regional (Visayas-wide) Gathering of Business-friendly Cities and Municipalities Forum last August 31 to September 2, 2003 at the Waterfront Mactan, Cebu
  
• E-governance Forum under the auspices of the City Development Strategies Project of the League of Cities of the Philippines, held last September 15 to 16, 2003 at the Marriot Hotel, Cebu City
• Presentations to Lakbay-Aral groups from LGUs from Luzon, Visayas,
  and Mindanao
  

The new, streamlined Business Permit Systems and Procedures has also been posted in the city's Website for easy reference to the city's investors, prospective investors, and to other LGUs who may want to benchmark on successful anti-red tap approaches.
